Hamilton colour specialist represents Canada at global competition

Elshadai Erbeto was a finalist at the Style Masters international hair competition in Madrid after winning the Canadian title based on her submission of three looks.

Erbeto, a colour specialist at McKinnon Hair Design, recreated one of those three avant-garde looks in front of judges at the Madrid competition.

"The inspiration was the three elements out of the four," Erbeto explained. "I created the looks of air, water and fire. It was all about the originality of the creation.

"My goal was to create something that has never been created." Canada was one of 25 countries in the competition and the global winner was Cliff Chun Kit Cheung of Hong Kong.
